The Koinonia ministry provides an opportunity for those age 55 and over to gather together in Christian fellowship. Luncheons are held on the first Saturday of February, April, June, and October and usually involve potlucks held in our Fellowship Hall.
In addition to the meal, our program includes acknowledgement of birthdays and anniversaries, and the singing of hymns. We also endeavor to have a guest speaker at each luncheon, whether from our church fellowship or elsewhere and our time together concludes with the singing of "Blest be the Tie that Binds."
The "big event" on the Koinonia calendar is our Christmas luncheon held at the Madonna Inn on the first Saturday in December. In the past few years this has become an all-church function including teenagers and guests.
